I know, the second blog post in one day!!! We've had a lot going on, so blogging multiple times it is :)
Yesterday was Jax's end of the year program at preschool. He has practiced very hard for this and was so excited to show off! They all got up on the big stage and sang 3 songs. I just don't know if there is anything cuter than a bunch of three/four year olds singing! Jax was of course the loudest one and not shy about it one bit. Cash was desperate to get on stage, but he'll have to wait until next year for that. Here is a video to show off Jax's amazing talents...

Memorial Day Fun!!!
This past weekend we were lucky enough to get away for a few days. We left Friday evening for Gatlingburg, TN with our friends, the Huffmans. We rented a condo, which was a brilliant idea considering all the kids we had in tow :) Then we spent the majority of the day on Saturday at an indoor water park called Wild Bear Falls. The boys had a blast and the park was perfect for little kids! Cash got a little tired and managed to sleep through the chaos for over an hour!!! After we'd exhausted the water park fun we walked the "strip" in downtown Gatlinburg and had dinner and a yummy desert of fudge and funnel cakes! I never knew Gatlinburg could be so much fun. I guess the last time we went it was just Corey and I and the possibilities of things to do was not so vast :)
After our trip to TN was over we headed to mom's cabin in Ranger, GA. My whole family was there and it was nice to spend some time with my brothers whom I don't get to see very often! The kids were out of control as usual, but the fam didn't seem to mind :) It was a very long and eventful weekend, so we were happy to be back home on Monday! I've posted a few pics of the trip for you to enjoy :)
I think the park was a bit much for him :)

A Redneck Afternoon!
I was lucky enough as a child to always have a pool around during the summer. My grandparents had a very nice in ground pool complete with a diving board, and when I was very young my parents also built an in ground pool right in our backyard! I have to admit that I was a bit of a snob about the whole thing and secretly laughed at others who didn't have access to a pool or were forced to enjoy (gasp) an above ground pool! I guess this was all before I understand the value of money and how expensive pools really are to build and maintain :)
Well, I'm sad to say that in our efforts to provide different entertainment options in our own backyard for our kids, we were not able to fit a nice pool into the budget. However, I was able to go to Target and spend less than $20 on a sprinkler toy and a baby pool! Lucky for me, my kids didn't seem to notice the difference in this and a full size pool :) I guess we are all rednecks at heart! Here's a few pics from our redneck afternoon!

Mother's Day!
Well, I was informed this weekend that I have been a delinquent on the blog front...AGAIN! So lets just say now that my expected blog post quota should be lowered to once every week to two weeks. I've got alot going on, and apparently I'm not as interesting as I once thought so give me a little break :)
Now, on to more important things! This Sunday was Mother's Day, and that is a pretty important day to me now! Since I'm expecting my third child, I thought it was only right to allow myself one day of pampering per little one. Therefore, my Mother's Day began on Friday and lasted through Sunday. I must first say that my gift from Corey and the kids came a little earlier in the week. Corey went shopping and couldn't wait to give me my new fancy diaper bag and my beautiful new dress from Due Maternity (very fancy)! I was going to wait to open my gifts, but the boys (and me!) couldn't quite wait that long :)
My weekend started with Corey suffering through a total chick flick on Friday night and not complaining once! I think he might have even laughed a few times, although if you ask him I'm sure he'll deny it :) On Saturday my good friend Steph and I spent the afternoon shopping and even caught the new Mathew McConaughey movie. It was a pretty good movie, but it was more a ploy to get to stare at Mathew and eat candy without feeling too terribly guilty :) The weekend wound down on Sunday with brunch at Marietta Country Club and a little get together with Corey's family in the evening. I'd have to say that there should definitely be more weekends like this in my future!!!
Bath time! Now, where are we going to put a third in this scenario???
Shirtless boys, the story of my life :)

"Hi, I'm a jerk. And you are?"
It has occurred to me that pregnancy is the most bizarre thing in the world! As soon as you pee on a stick and see two pink lines your body goes into hyper drive and you begin to act and feel like a completely different person than your were two weeks before. Since this is my third time around, I've discovered that forgetfulness is a recurring theme in my pregnancies. Somehow my body feels like it has too much to do, and it simply can't allow my brain to function in a way that helps me remember where I put my keys or what I came in the kitchen to do. It has also occurred to me that when I'm forgetful of things like how to act like a normal human being, some of the people around me are too.
I was unaware that it is ever okay to tell a woman that she is looking particularly huge that day. Yet somehow, I seem to meet several people a day that feel the need to tell me I'm "so big!". I realize that gaining weight and "showing" is a natural progression of pregnancy, but I didn't realize it was a free pass to lose all tact and sensitivity when commenting on a women's body. I know that I'm a bit sensitive to the weight subject, but come on people!!! Do you really think that asking me if I'm sure I'm not carrying twins or telling me I look alot bigger at this point than I should, is going to make me feel comfortable with my changing body???
So, since this is pregnancy #3 I can only hope that my skin can be tougher this time around. I am busting through my maternity clothes with ease, and baby Leggett seems to be ginormous already. Since my babies have gotten progressively bigger, I can only assume that this one will be close enough to nine pounds to make me a cow by November. However, I must issue a disclaimer to all those with loose tongues, because as my belly grows bigger so do my hormones and one of these days a silly comment, like those mentioned above, might warrant a smack down pregnant lady style!
